swissbib contained over 30 million records from approximately 970 Swiss libraries (harvested from 17 networks) and 10 repositories. Also included were 6.5 million records for articles acquired as national licences.

The data was harvested in different formats and was normalized, clustered and merged in CBS (Central Bibliographic System). This data was used for all services based on the swissbib datahub:

• the user interfaces of swissbib

• the different APIs

• the transformation to linked data, developed in the project linked. swissbib
